Several source systems.
A multi-asset organisation needs management reporting. The data sits in several systems, and reporting must stay within the organisation’s infrastructure.
Illustrative engineering scenario. This is not a client case study or proof of Novera delivery.
Role-based access.
A role determines which data rows are available.

Start with the meaning of a metric
The project involves task management, service management and information security systems. Two fields with the same name can still mean different things.
Each metric needs a source, a formula and an owner who can verify the calculation. Without them, a polished dashboard moves the same disagreement to a new screen.
A warehouse inside the company
The architecture uses PostgreSQL with Staging, Core and Marts layers. Airflow handles ingestion; Power BI handles reporting. On-premises hosting determines the requirements for access and source connections.
Dashboards serve different management levels. Row-level security limits which data each role can see.
Check the data and the interface separately
An interim demonstration helps users review the report’s logic. Connecting a source and reconciling the figures require their own checks.
This scenario examines architecture and data work. Each new metric requires agreement on its formula and source as the system develops.
An interim demonstration lets a team review the BI design and refine dashboard priorities. The next step ties each metric to its source and formula so report figures can be checked.
