The work
- Build and develop backend services and APIs.
- Integrate external systems and internal services.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Contribute to solution design, code review and technical documentation.
- Diagnose issues and support services in production.
Role-specific skills
- Commercial backend development experience with Python 3.
- Confident use of at least one web framework: FastAPI, Django or Flask.
- REST API design and development; gRPC experience is a plus.
- Confident SQL skills and PostgreSQL experience.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency and profiling.
- Unit and integration testing with pytest.
- Experience with Git, Docker and CI/CD.
- Experience breaking down tasks and taking part in code review and architecture discussions.
Commercial experience
We consider Junior+, Middle and Senior specialists. Each field requires at least six months of relevant commercial experience. Courses and personal projects can add to it.
Courses and personal projects do not replace commercial experience.
Experience using AI tools in commercial work is a plus, with results checked through tests and review and confidentiality respected.
