The work
- Design and develop Java test automation frameworks.
- Automate web, API and integration testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and maintain test reports.
- Analyse defects, take part in code review and manage test coverage.
Role-specific skills
- Commercial Java web test automation experience with JUnit 5 or TestNG, Selenium or Selenide, and RestAssured; mobile and desktop are optional.
- API and integration testing experience with REST, SOAP or gRPC.
- Manual testing experience.
- Experience designing and maintaining extensible test frameworks.
- Practical use of automation patterns such as Page Object, Factory or Builder.
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience creating mock services with WireMock or similar tools.
- CI/CD experience.
- Experience with test reporting tools such as Allure or ReportPortal.
- SQL skills for joins, subqueries, aggregations and DML.
Commercial experience
We consider Junior+, Middle and Senior specialists. Each field requires at least six months of relevant commercial experience. Courses and personal projects can add to it.
Courses and personal projects do not replace commercial experience.
Experience using AI tools in commercial work is a plus, with results checked through tests and review and confidentiality respected.
