Java Developer

The Java field covers backend services and data exchange between systems. The role uses Java 17 and Spring Boot 3+; Kotlin with Ktor is also a priority.

The work

  • Build and develop backend services in Java or Kotlin.
  • Design REST APIs, integrations and communication through message brokers.
  • Write automated tests and take part in code review and technical design.
  • Diagnose issues and support services in production.

Role-specific skills

  • Java 17.
  • Spring Boot 3+ and Spring Data.
  • Kotlin with Ktor is a priority.
  • PostgreSQL and Redis.
  • Kafka.
  • RESTful API development and integration.
  • Docker.
  • Experience writing clear, documented code.
  • Monitoring and tracing with Grafana.
  • GitLab version control.
  • Working with logs in ELK.

Commercial experience

We consider Junior+, Middle and Senior specialists. Each field requires at least six months of relevant commercial experience. Courses and personal projects can add to it.

Courses and personal projects do not replace commercial experience.

Experience using AI tools in commercial work is a plus, with results checked through tests and review and confidentiality respected.
