The work
- Build and develop .NET backend services.
- Design REST/gRPC APIs, microservices and integrations.
- Write unit and integration tests and take part in code review.
- Maintain containerisation, observability and service reliability.
Role-specific skills
- Commercial .NET development experience.
- Understanding of OOP, SOLID and clean code.
- REST API and/or gRPC service development.
- Practical experience with MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL.
- Microservice design and development experience.
- Experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of queues, retry policies, dead-letter queues and delivery semantics.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core and/or Dapper.
- Unit testing experience.
- Confident use of Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD.
- Experience integrating external systems and APIs.
- Docker experience.
- Docker Compose experience.
Commercial experience
We consider Junior+, Middle and Senior specialists. Each field requires at least six months of relevant commercial experience. Courses and personal projects can add to it.
Courses and personal projects do not replace commercial experience.
Experience using AI tools in commercial work is a plus, with results checked through tests and review and confidentiality respected.
