ML / Computer Vision Engineer

Computer vision requires work on both models and image data. Engineers prepare datasets, develop detection and segmentation models and optimise inference for the deployment environment.

The work

  • Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for classification, detection, segmentation and object tracking.
  • Optimise neural models with techniques such as quantisation and pruning for edge devices or cloud GPUs.
  • Collect, annotate, augment and prepare datasets.
  • Integrate solutions into customer products using Python/C++.
  • Take part in code review and write technical documentation, including in English.
  • Join customer demos and estimate tasks.

Role-specific skills

  • Relevant commercial development experience.
  • Strong Python skills and experience building FastAPI backend services.
  • Experience with OpenCV, NumPy and SciPy.
  • Understanding of CNN and Transformer architectures for computer vision.
  • Experience with PyTorch, preferably, or TensorFlow.
  • Understanding of the ML lifecycle from experiments to production, including Docker, FastAPI/Flask and basic CI/CD.
  • Model optimisation experience with TensorRT, OpenVINO or ONNX Runtime.

Commercial experience

We consider Junior+, Middle and Senior specialists. Each field requires at least six months of relevant commercial experience. Courses and personal projects can add to it.

Courses and personal projects do not replace commercial experience.

Experience using AI tools in commercial work is a plus, with results checked through tests and review and confidentiality respected.
