The work
- Develop Android applications in Kotlin.
- Build screens, API integrations and local data storage.
- Write unit and UI tests and take part in code review and architecture discussions.
- Support releases, diagnose issues and improve application quality.
Role-specific skills
- Knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Experience with Coroutines and Flow.
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Git experience.
- Gradle experience.
- Understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
- Experience with local data storage.
- Basic understanding of dependency injection.
- Experience with ViewModel.
- Experience writing basic unit tests.
- Experience taking a feature through its full implementation.
- Experience breaking down tasks.
- Confident handling of concurrency.
Commercial experience
We consider Junior+, Middle and Senior specialists. Each field requires at least six months of relevant commercial experience. Courses and personal projects can add to it.
Courses and personal projects do not replace commercial experience.
Experience using AI tools in commercial work is a plus, with results checked through tests and review and confidentiality respected.
